Jennifer Medina
Foster Care Home Supervisor - Colorado Springs
Jennifer Medina received her bachelor’s degree in sociology and has always worked with high risk children. In her role as foster care home supervisor, she guides foster families through the challenging process of fostering children from the day the child is placed in their home until the day the child leaves or becomes a member of the family. Jennifer and her husband have two children, one biological and one adopted from the foster care system. She is grateful that she can use her personal experience when supporting foster families. Jennifer keeps busy with her boys’ sports and school activities, and she also enjoys reading a good book or walking their dog.
Jessica Badger
Foster Care Home Supervisor - Colorado Springs
Jessica Badger received her bachelor’s degree in social work and a master’s degree in special education. As a foster care home supervisor, she supports foster/adoptive families in navigating the foster care system. Jessica enjoys working with children and is passionate about encouraging families through each day as foster parents. Before coming to Bethany, she worked in the special education field for 12 years. Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband and four dogs, hiking, camping, and riding ATVs.
Michelle Fontera
Placement Specialist - Colorado Springs
Shelly Fontera received her bachelor’s degree in psychology. She has worked in social work and the non-profit sector since 2009, and before coming to Bethany, she was the case manager at a residential treatment facility. At Bethany, Shelly walks alongside hopeful adoptive couples as they journey towards growing their families through adoption. Her passion for children and families continues to grow as she serves those in her community. Shelly enjoys crafts, spending time with her husband and young daughter, as well as serving in children’s ministry at her church.
