Your advocacy matters

Each of us seeks love and connection. But our world knows a million ways to break. The largest refugee crisis in history separates children from their parents. War and famine destroy families’ homes and livelihoods. The opioid epidemic leaves children scared and alone.

When we lift our voices, we can collectively advance policies that protect children, empower youth, and strengthen families.

Why we fight for children and families

At Bethany, we’ve seen the transformative power of “safe, loved, and connected”—for moms and dads who found hope, for children and teens who found a family, and for refugees who found a home. That’s why for 80 years, our faith has inspired us to create safe, stable family environments.

We will never stop fighting for vulnerable people and the love and safety they seek.

Because no matter what forces pull us apart, there’s a greater force that brings us together: family.

“Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.”

- Isaiah 1:17
