Helping families grow strong together

When families face challenges, Parents and Children Together® (PACT) provides in-home support services tailored to the family’s needs.

Parents deserve support during a crisis, before their children are at risk of neglect or trauma. That’s why we offer PACT services.

This research-supported family preservation program coaches parents to stabilize and strengthen their families when they face challenges with:

  • Mental health
  • Substance use
  • Domestic violence
  • Behavior issues
  • Truancy
  • Discipline/supervision
  • Neglect
  • Family conflict
  • And more

Families work with a PACT practitioner in their home for 25 hours over 90 days (does not extend past 90 days), meeting 1-2 times per week, with 24/7 emergency support available.

Skills parents build through PACT

PACT equips caregivers with practical tools and confidence to strengthen their families. Through guided support, parents grow in:

  • Home safety – Creating a safe, stable environment where children can thrive
  • Parenting skills – Building routines, nurturing healthy attachment, and supporting child development
  • Communication – Improving how families talk, listen, and understand one another
  • Coping skills – Managing stress, emotions, and daily challenges in healthier ways
  • Relapse prevention – Recognizing triggers, building accountability, and maintaining progress
  • Resources access – Learning how to navigate community supports, services, and tools that strengthen the whole family
  • Behaviors management – Understanding children’s needs and responding with consistency and compassion
  • Family conflict reduction
Building harmony at home through problem‑solving and positive interactions
