We’re there to be a safety net

When Anna and Brian heard about Safe Families through their church, they felt God calling them to get involved. With a heart for families facing crisis, they wanted to help be part of a family’s support system, especially those going through hard times alone.

As a Host Family volunteers, Anna and Brian support parents by providing safe, temporary care for their children while parents get help to manage the crisis—before foster care is needed. They keep children connected with their families with calls, texts, visits, video calls, and more until they care safely return home.

“Most of us have relatives, coworkers, and friends around us,” said Brian. “We know somebody’s got our back. But when families without a support system have nobody to call, they feel lost. With Safe Families, we let them know someone’s here for you. We’ve got you.”
