Pouring into people's lives
How Nichol's life journey led her to build her career at Bethany

After entering foster care as a baby, Nichol was adopted at age 2. Inspired by her birth mother, she became a social worker and began her career at Bethany in domestic infant adoption. Later, when Nichol became an assistant branch director, she gained a broader perspective on the range of services Bethany provides. That experience allowed her to transition into a third career, all within the same organization.
Today, as national director for Bethany’s refugee and immigrant children’s services, Nichol oversees programs that provide temporary foster care for children until they can safely reunite with family members or sponsors.
“There are so many ways to pour into people’s lives here,” she says. “Bethany gives you that opportunity.”
