Leaving a legacy of love

"I care about this work because I've been there"

Taylor was 18 when she gave birth to her son. She shares that at the time, she wasn’t making great choices and was worried she wouldn’t be able to give her baby the life she wanted him to have.

Her parents supported her, helped her weigh options, and eventually walked Taylor through the process of making an adoption plan. “When things got hard, they reminded me why I was doing this. To make sure my baby had loving parents and a good home.”

Now, years later, Taylor works in health care and is raising two boys, ages 2 and 4. As a single parent, having a will is important to her. She wants peace of mind, knowing that no matter what, her boys will be taken care of.

After experiencing firsthand how adoption changes and saves lives, Taylor wants to help other moms who might not be ready to parent but who care about giving their babies a safe, loving home. She decided to leave a legacy of love and included Bethany in her will.

“My gift will be there in the future to provide women with a different option so they can make sure their baby is going to a safe place. And they can be taken care of, mentally and emotionally, throughout the process.”

On behalf of the children and families being helped now and long into the future, we thank you and others like Taylor who want to help by leaving a legacy of love.
