Elizabeth Chege
PRS Family Reunification Program Supervisor - Houston
Elizabeth is team leader for the Bethany Houston team. Elizabeth has a master’s degree in laws-human rights and over 10 years’ experience in the legal and social services field, providing services to internally displaced persons and stateless, refugee, and migrant populations. Elizabeth has a heart for helping displaced women and children achieve stability and realize their full potential.
Mayra Razo
PRS Lead Case Manager - Houston
Mayra earned her B.A.A.S degree in applied public administration and leadership from the University of Houston. Mayra has a passion for serving communities in need. In the last 10 years, she has worked in a high school setting and in an ORR shelter. At Bethany, she is expanding her mission to serve youth by working with unaccompanied children.
Ana Flores
Case Support Specialist - Houston
Ana has a B.S in psychology and experience empowering children and families to reach their full potential. Ana has worked with unaccompanied children since 2018 as a case manager and assistant lead case manager. Ana’s passion is shown in her devotion to helping children, and she often goes beyond the expected to ensure others’ needs are met.
Cynthia Garcia Millan
PRS Intake and Quality Assurance Coordinator - Houston
Cynthia has a master’s degree in social work from Andrews University and a bachelor’s in psychology from Linfield University. Cynthia has experience working in the nonprofit and social services sector and enjoys serving and advocating for clients of diverse backgrounds. She finds joy in helping others with kindness and compassion. In her free time, she likes to read, go on walks with her husband, and try new recipes.
Faith Whiting
PRS Administrative Assistant - Houston
Faith has a B.A. in psychology from the University of Houston Central Campus. She worked 35 years for ExxonMobil Corporation before joining Bethany’s team in 2021. She is passionate about helping others.
Roberto Ruiz
PRS Case Manager - Houston
Roberto is a native Texan, raised in Houston, with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Guided by a strong belief in kindness and empathy, Roberto champions the cause of helping others in need. He brings extensive experience in providing guidance, resources, and support for refugees as they adapt to a new country. Roberto is especially passionate about the field of mental health and aspires to play a pivotal role for youth who need this support.
