Pickleball for a Purpose: Serving Foster Care & Health Needs

Event Details

Join us in playing pickleball for both fun and purpose: to raise awareness for children in foster care. 

In addition to instructions, rotational play, and lunch, there will be presentations about the work Bethany Christian Services is doing to serve children in foster care and care for refugees and practical steps for how YOU can come alongside us to help support local families and the underserved in your community, whether through becoming a foster parent, volunteering, and more. 

There will also be opportunities to hear from our sponsor, Josie's Wish, who provides supplemental medical supplies to those in need.

This event brings together our shared commitment to strengthening families and supporting individuals in need. Our goal is to raise community awareness about the vital work we do to provide foster care and other services to vulnerable children and families.

11:30 am Check-in & lunch  

12 pm Instruction & group play 

12:30 pm Presentations  

1 pm Rotational play  

2:30 pm Event ends 

Format: Four-person teams, one-hour instruction for novice players, rotational play for skilled players. Presentations, door prizes, lunch, and snacks provided. 

Registration fee: $50 per player
