Brad Keller

Brad Keller

Sr Vice President Regional Operations - Southwest Michigan

Brad Keller, VP of regional operations in Michigan, has supervised teams at Bethany for more than 26 years. Brad enjoys helping teams build on their individual strengths, negotiating outcomes so everyone knows their role and what is expected of them, moving things in a positive direction, and using humor and joy to fulfill Bethany’s mission of serving vulnerable children and families. He earned his master’s degree in social work and has worked in child welfare, foster care, and adoption since 1995.

Timothy Nolan

Timothy Nolan

Vice President Regional Operations - Holland

Tim manages operations of the Traverse City, Muskegon, Holland, Kalamazoo, and Southfield, Michigan regions. He began at Bethany in 2006 as a refugee foster care case manager. He then served as the national director for Safe Families for Children where he built national connections, stabilized funding, and advanced legislative priorities. Tim was most recently branch director of the Holland branch. He has an LMSW and MPA from Grand Valley State University, with an emphasis in nonprofit leadership. He and his family live in West Michigan.

Alyssa Noe

Alyssa Noe

Executive Branch Director, LMSW - Holland

Alyssa joined Bethany Christian Services in 2013, and currently serves as the Branch Director in Holland. Alyssa formerly directed the counseling program in Holland and Allegan and has training in multiple evidence-based treatment modalities such as EMDR, TF-CBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and DBT. Alyssa earned her master’s degree in clinical social work from Michigan State University and her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Grand Valley State University.

Richard Gritter

Richard Gritter

Michigan Director of Donor Engagement - Holland

Rich has worked with Bethany for more than 20 years, working as a supervisor, program manager, and now as Director of Donor Engagement. He enjoys planning fundraising events, meeting with donors, and telling the Bethany story. Rich graduated with degrees in social work from Calvin College and the University of Michigan.

Amy Wilson

Amy Wilson

Counseling Supervisor, LMSW - Holland

Amy began working for Bethany in 2020. She has experience working with children, families, and adults who present with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, school-related issues, trauma, anger, and self-esteem. Amy also works with youth and families in the Juvenile Justice Diversion program, here the focus is to work with children and teens to keep them from entering the juvenile justice system. She is trained in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT). Amy received her master’s degree in Social Work from Grand Valley State University and her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Cornerstone University.

Brianne Roux

Brianne Roux

Bilingual Family Therapist - LLPC - Holland

Brianne Roux joined the Bethany Christian Services counseling team in the summer of 2021. She enjoys working alongside children, families, and adults dealing with issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, relationships, behavioral problems, self-esteem, school/academic concerns, anger, and stress. She is fluent in Spanish and has worked with Spanish speakers from all over the world. Brianne began working to encourage children and families with an undergraduate degree from Hope College in Spanish and Elementary Education through teaching Spanish immersion, and she now holds a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Cornerstone University. Brianne enjoys working collaboratively with clients to build new skills and consider new perspectives.

Foster Care Supervisor - Holland

Kari has been with Bethany since beginning an internship in the fall of 2011. She began her time at Bethany as a foster care case aid, supervising parenting times between birth parents and children. Soon after, she transitioned to a foster care case manager role where she worked alongside families and children being reunified or adopted. Currently, Kari supervises the foster care team in Holland and continues to love working alongside children and families.

Susan Wonch

Child Welfare Program Manager - Holland

Susan joined Bethany Christian Services of Holland in 2012 as a foster care and foster care adoption caseworker. Within the last 5 years she has supervised Holland’s foster care, foster care adoption, licensing and juvenile justice programs. She has social work degrees from Taylor University and Grand Valley State University. Susan is passionate about keeping kids safe and working alongside families to achieve reunification or other safe permanency options. In recent years she has enjoyed helping educate and walk alongside staff in a supervisory role to encourage staff retention and quality service to kids and families in our community.

Pregnancy Counselor - Holland

Amber serves as a West Michigan Pregnancy Counselor. She has worked in a variety of roles in the human service and counseling fields and has been with Bethany since 2016. She is gifted in ministering to marginalized populations and has a special passion for meeting the needs of expectant parents. She would be pleased to take your call and answer questions you have about our services.

Foster Care Recruitment and Retention Specialist - Holland

Becky has a degree in social work from Calvin University. She’s passionate about working alongside foster families to support and educate them. She loves spreading the word about the need for foster families and would love to speak with anyone interested in learning more.

Christina Matthews

Foster Care Licensing Supervisor - Holland

Christina started her journey as a foster care case manager, moved into a foster care team lead position, then transitioned into her current role. Christina and her team have a passion for keeping kids safe by working to approve homes for domestic foster care, domestic foster care adoption, and short-term immigrant foster care.

David Van Farowe, MA, LPC

David Van Farowe, MA, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor - Holland

David is an experienced and effective child, family, and individual mental health clinician with 20 years’ experience. He’s more excited than ever to use his skills to support healing, growth, and well-being for children, couples, families, and individuals. Therapy modalities David is trained and certified in include Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), motivational interviewing, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). He’s fluent in English and Spanish and trained to provide culturally appropriate services to both English and Spanish speakers.

Counseling Supervisor - Holland

Emily provides out-patient counseling for children, families, and adults with a wide range of presenting concerns, including trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief and loss, ADHD, and relationships. She enjoys working with clients to find new ways of thinking and coping skills that best fit into their lives. Emily is trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), motivational interviewing, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Emily has a master’s in social work from Grand Valley State University and a Master of Divinity from Western Theological Seminary.

Child and Family Therapist - Holland

Jenna has held various roles at Bethany starting with foster care, adoption, and now therapy. She has experience walking alongside children, families, and adults who have experienced trauma, domestic/sexual violence, and involvement in the foster care/juvenile justice court systems. Jenna earned a master’s in social work at Western Michigan University and a bachelor’s in social work at Hope College.

Short-Term Immigrant Foster Care Program Director - Holland

Laura worked as a case manager for unaccompanied families before transitioning into her current role. She’s bilingual and lived abroad for seven years. Laura is passionate about learning about people, languages, and cultures because it opens doors to form meaningful relationships and provides opportunities to share the gospel. She also has a heart for protecting children and reuniting families.

Short-Term Immigrant Foster Care QA/PSA Lead Manager - Holland

Maggie’s role as quality assurance and prevention of sexual abuse lead manager involves monitoring policy and tracking compliance within the STIFC program. She has a background of supporting unaccompanied children as a case manager and is passionate about ensuring quality services for the children and families Bethany serves. Maggie earned a bachelor’s in social work and Spanish from Hope College and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in clinical social work at Michigan State University.

Selena Ramos

Administrative Assistant and Community Mental Health Support - Holland

Selena’s first role at Bethany focused on reuniting unaccompanied children with their families across the U.S. She later transitioned to administrative assistant and community mental health support, offering support to the counseling team. Selena is actively engaged in the community as a Hispanic/Latino outreach specialist. Through these multifaceted roles, she is dedicated to building bridges and fostering connections within diverse and underserved communities.

Short-Term Immigrant Foster Care Education Supervisor - Holland

Sophia leads a team of teachers who provide educational services to immigrant youth during their time in care. She enjoys walking alongside immigrant youth as they adapt to a new place, language, and culture.
