Today, on World Refugee Day, U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-Md.), Chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and Congressman Ted Lieu (D-Calif.-36) were joined by 22 Senate and 57 House colleagues to introduce a resolution affirming the United States’ commitment to supporting the safety, health, and welfare of refugees and forcibly displaced persons worldwide as they flee persecution, conflict, and violence.
